Keyboarding Skills
Keyboard training begins in the early elementary grades, with the expectation that by middle school students can develop correct finger placement and be efficient in typing reports and class assignments.

Software programs are used to help in the instruction, such as:

At home students are encouraged to always make an effort to use correct finger placement whenever they are using a computer.

For home use, software can be purchased from the
Scholastic Software Club.
