Keyboard training begins in the early elementary grades, with the expectation that by middle school students can develop correct finger placement and be efficient in typing reports and
class assignments. Software programs are used to help in the instruction, such as: Type to Learn Jr. Type to Learn Type to Learn 3 UltraKey At home students are encouraged to always make an effort to use correct finger placement whenever they are using a computer.
