First graders will continue to build on skills learned in kindergarten. They will work with two programs this year. One is Scholastic Keys, which is a student version of Microsoft Office, and Type to Learn which introduces students
to the basics of keyboarding. Students will learn a variety of skills such as font styles, importing graphics, and saving documents to a folder. They will produce simple word documents as well as
complete a simple Power Point project using a template asking them to fill in the blanks. |
