Academic Olympics

Practice times are: Monday-Thursday mornings from 7:30 to 8:15 and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during lunch. Encourage your child to watch Jeopardy, do the Isaac Asimov quiz in the Sunday paper, and READ, READ, READ. The students who do the best in thse competitions are the ones who read the most because they are exposed to a great deal of trivia. Also, since current events plays a big part of the Cathedral competition, work with your child on current events. There are online sites they can go to and there is always the evening news.
